Monkeys and Robots
Background
I was born and raised in Michigan. I studied painting at the University of Michigan, and then moved to New York City in the late 90’s to get into painting and the art scene. The closest I got to the art scene was selling art supplies at Pearl Paint on Canal Street to people who were actually painting. While those people were painting their masterpieces, I was going home and learning to use graphics programs on my Mac clone all night. Two years later I moved back to Michigan, got into web design, and haven’t looked back.
I’m married to the wonderful Marie, have a fantastic daughter named Kate, and we have our hands full with Parker, the best black lab ever.
What does this have to do with monkeys and robots? Nothing. I just like monkeys and robots.
