Happy 1 year anniversary to…myself. Masuga Design was officially launched on April 1, 2006 so it’s been a year and a week now and I’m still here. I have some good news – I got an office in downtown Grand Rapids, and the pictureset as it progresses is on flickr.

I felt I needed a place because work has taken over my life – and it was time to put a little separation between things. Now I go to work sort of like I did in the past -which means GO to work, as in elsewhere. Out in the world. Where people are. No more of this get out of bed, throw on jeans and slippers and walk three feet to the office and never see or talk to a living soul until my wife gets home stuff that I’ve been doing for over a year now. That was fun, but I was starting to go a little crazy not seeing other people, even in passing, on a regular basis. I love my dog, but he doesn’t know English.

I also need some creative and programming help (and I’ve been getting some great communication going (thanks, everyone)) and I don’t need people coming to my house, getting the dog all worked up. So I’ve got the centrally located place downtown, projects and potential projects lined up, and some possible help in the wings. Happy one year birthday…to me!
