MedDirect was looking for someone to design the face of their new medical billing application. They had the back-end database and functionality being worked on in-house, but no one to “make it look nice”. I took that job one step further by helping to improve the application’s organizational structure and interface. I helped to make the application’s flow more intuitive and easier to use.

Although the client could not make use of PHP or other server-side includes, the pages were built in PHP to help cut down my production time. On the preview site I set up for the client, there is a convenient source-code viewer on each page so the client can easily see the rendered page’s source for copying into their proprietary back-end system. The preview site always keeps the client informed on what the most recent files are, whether they’re HTML, CSS, or JavaScript files.
